Privacy Policy

The short version
Inner Me does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data — ever. Everything you enter into the app is stored only on your own device. There is no account, no server, no database, and the app makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing you write is ever seen by me or by anyone else.
What the app stores
Inner Me saves the information you enter directly in the app, using on-device storage only:
- Mood check-ins
- Journal entries, both guided and free-write
- Gratitude entries
- Goals and tasks
- A record of your own activity in the app, such as streaks and history
This information never leaves your device. It is not uploaded, synced, backed up, or transmitted anywhere.
What the app does not do
- No account, sign-up, login, or authentication of any kind
- No backend server or database — zero network requests
- No analytics, tracking, crash reporting, or telemetry
- No third-party SDKs that collect data
- No advertising
- No access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photo library
- No push notifications
How your information is used
Because nothing ever leaves your device, your information is used only to run the app for you — showing your journal history, calculating streaks, and displaying your mood and gratitude entries back to you. It is never used for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
Sharing and selling of data
Inner Me does not share or sell any user data, because it never collects or transmits any data in the first place. There is nothing to share.
Data storage and deletion
All your data lives in local, on-device storage. If you delete the app, everything you entered is permanently deleted along with it, since no copy exists anywhere else — not on a server, not in the cloud, and not with me. There is no way to recover your entries after uninstalling, so keep that in mind before you delete the app.
Children's privacy
Inner Me does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In fact, Inner Me does not collect data from anyone, of any age. Everything entered into the app stays on the device it was entered on.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Since the app has no way to collect contact information, I can't notify you directly, so please check back here if you'd like to review the current policy.
